The Style 6500 by SICURA FOOTWEAR is ultra-lightweight safety high boot. Includes a Steel toecap with an electrostatic epoxy coating. It offers superior electrical resistance and serves as a boot suitable for welders.

FEATURES

  • The Style 6500 by SICURA FOOTWEAR is ultra-lightweight safety high boot. Includes a Steel toecap with an electrostatic epoxy coating. It can also be manufactured with composite toecap.
  • The sole is made of dual-density elastomeric microcellular polyurethane, formed by an expansive sole (PU foam cushioning for shock absorption) and a compact sole (non-slip and resistant to hydrocarbons and lubricants).
  • Ergonomically designed, made with full grain cow leather, natural finish with a waxy feel, in ochre/honey color.
  • The boot is sewn with triple stitching.
  • The boot has a composition leather counter and a polyester-based insole with SicTex membrane, an antibacterial and extremely breathable membrane. All of this helps the user have more comfort when stepping and also allowing a better internal climate, avoiding humidity and heat generated by the foot.
  • Sizes: 36 – 45.

  • SicSteam ergonomic insole (100% breathable microfiber, guarantees complete absorption of humidity, it’s anti-microbial and has thermic regulation effects).
  • Penetration resistance midsole made of textile materials (metal free), to avoid risk of sharp objects penetrating through the sole.

SPECIFICATIONS OF MATERIALS

Toecap made with SAE 1050 steel, hardened and tempered with electrostatic epoxy coating, resistant to corrosion, impact and compression. Minimal residual height of 19.5 mm.

Penetration resistant midsole, resistant to perforation (1,100 N force)

Grade 1 Polyurethane sole according to ASTM D3851, formulated to resist hydrocarbon fuels and lubricants. Anti-slip and doesn’t scratch the floor.

GENERAL PROPERTIES OF THE SOLE

Tensile strength and elongation to breaking point (higher than 4.9 MPa and 300%)

Tear strength (higher than 22.0 and 11.5 KN/m)

Bending fatigue resistance: 150,000 cycles

Abrasion resistance:

≤ 300 mm3: E.T.M. PDVSA, ≤ 350 mm3: ISO 4649 standard.

GENERAL PROPERTIES OF MANUFACTURED SHOE

Resistance of union of upper-sole: 800 N force

Test voltage of 14 kV for AC (alternating current) with leakage current less than or equal to 3 milli Ampere (mA). For DC (direct current) at 30kV with leakage current not greater than 50 micro Ampere (µA).

Impact test on footwear: 200 J, 12.5 mm minimal height.

Compression test: 15 KN, 19.5 mm minimal height.

Perforation resistance: 1,100 N force.
